When you want a quick meal with a bit of heat, Bob’s KaBobs are the way to go! It is a great summer bbq light and easy option and can be served family style or as appetizers when entertaining. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed!
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup Greek yogurt
1 Tbsp each of garam masala, cumin & Kissan Tandoori Masala spice (you can substitute curry powder for tandoori spice)
1 tsp chopped garlic
1 tsp chopped ginger
Mix all ingredients and divide into equal portions. Form into sausage shapes and insert skewers into each. Refrigerate for about half an hour or longer.
Grill on medium heat on a sprayed or oiled foil sheet or use Cookina a reusable grilling sheet. Turn skewers occasionally until cooked.
Tips:
To serve with a raita influenced sauce, just add chopped tomatoes and cucumbers to 1/2 cup of plain yogurt. Garnish with coriander or parsley.
Gluten free Corn Tortillas are great wrapped around the KaBobs, just lightly fry in a small amount of oil.
Lettuce add a nice light texture and crunch.
