Savoury Chickpea Flour Waffles

Ingredients:

1 3/4 cup Chickpea Flour

2 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

3 eggs

4 Tbsp vegetable oil

1 1/2 cup almond milk

Instructions:

Sift all dry ingredients. Separate eggs. Beat egg whites until stiff, set aside.

Add egg yolk, oil and milk to the dry ingredients. Beat until smooth.

Fold in egg whites. Pour the amount as indicated on the instruction of your waffle maker.

Tips:

Serve this warm with your choice of toppings. The skies the limit for toppings, use chicken, chili, grilled veggies or salad, and drizzle with your favourite sauce.

To switch from savoury to sweet waffles just add 1 tbsp of granulated sugar to the dry ingredients. Top the cooked waffles with fruits and drizzle with maple syrup.

These freeze fairly well, just thaw and pop in the toaster to re-heat.
