Give it a try, I promise you will not be disappointed!

Black & Decker bread machine recipe

1 1/4 cup water

3 Tbsp skim milk powder

1 egg, beaten

2 Tbsp butter

1/4 cup sugar

1 1/4 tsp salt

4 1/4 cups white all-purpose flour or bread flour

1 1/4 tsp bread machine yeast

Brown sugar syrup:

1/4 cup butter

2/3 cup packed brown sugar

3 Tbsp water

3/4 cup pecan halves

Filling:

3 Tbsp melted butter

2/3 cup packed brown sugar

1 Tbsp ground cinnamon

3/4 cup chopped pecans

Measure first 8 ingredients in order as listed into bread machine baking pan.

Select Dough/Pasta setting and start the machine.

Meanwhile prepare the syrup. Boil together butter, water, and brown sugar for 1 minute. Immediately pour into a 9 x 13-inch pan, tilting to make sure the bottom is evenly covered with syrup. Arrange pecans, flat side up, on the syrup.

When cycle is complete, roll the dough on a lightly floured surface to about 12 x 18-inch rectangle. Brush with melted butter. Sprinkle evenly with a mixture of brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle chopped pecans on top. Starting at the large side, roll up. Cut the roll into 12 equal pieces. Place over syrup. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes or until the rolls double in size.

Remove cover and bake at 375 F for about 30-35 minutes. Loosen edges and invert onto a serving tray.

Tips:

Omit the nuts or add raisins if you prefer.

Drizzle with a glaze after baked (3/4 cup icing sugar, 1 tbsp milk, 1/4 tsp vanilla or almond flavouring).
